For anyone who recognises the area and thinks, why didn’t you get out of the car and walk along the river, take some photos of the lighthouse? the answer is simple. Some concern was expressed about the safety of taking a child with no sense of personal safety and a tendency to refuse to hold hands as well as not terribly well behaved pup along a river. So we stopped for a moment, debated logistics and decided to err for caution.
