This week has taken us from the lingering remains of the Christmas and New Year holidays to the welcome return to school and work and routine. Who knew they could be so welcome?
This week has been a story of low winter light and deep shadows, beginning with a morning cup of tea on Sunday while lunch cooked.
On Monday Rosie decided she wanted to roost on the windowsill and peek around the curtains.
Tuesday was a tale of a migraine, a cuddly book rest and our neighbour’s dog in silhouette.
Wednesday was rain, from daybreak to after sunset.
A return to work yesterday.
And a welcome run-in to the weekend for just Rosie and I today.
