On occasion it can be fun to capture some images throughout your day, encapsulating a flavour of how you live. During March and April I undertook a 12 on the 12th project. I plan to do the same again this month. Yesterday I thought I would do something similar.
Ali Edwards ran a project for part of last year called Day in the Life. Having read that Ali planned to do this again yesterday I thought I would join in. These projects offer two benefits, they get me thinking about what I do about my day, noticing all the moments and little things. It is also fun to look back over a series and see how my days change from month to month and to what extent they remain the same.
As yesterday was the 8th of April I will also go with 8 on the 8th. Because, why not.
So, was my final image of the day really mushrooms? No, but one of the rules of snapping family is that they stay firmly on the ‘phone or in the album, not on the internet.
Go grab your camera or cameraphone and try a little project yourself, it doesn’t have to be a whole day or 12, or 8 images, take just one or two or four.
